Hi, everyone. It's Dylan here from the Fergus team. In this video, I'm gonna show you how health and safety works in Fergus. 

To get started, let's select the H and S along the top banner of Fergus. The first section we will see when selecting this is the meeting section. This is where you can create health and safety meetings in Fergus. If we select new meeting from the top right, we have a template we need to fill out from the top.

We have title Fergus. Default to team meeting and today's date. But this can be changed to whatever you like below that is the date and the attendees so you can record who is there. Next are the minutes. This allows you to record everything, and you can create tables if you need to. At the end of your meetings, you may have tasks that need to be carried out as a result 


That's why at the bottom of the section, you can create tasks and assign them out while they're still top of mind. The next section is the swim section. Fergus will have a bunch of these already in your account that you can use at the top. You can drag and drop or browse your computer to upload any additional swims on the far right. There are three dots next to each swims. Selecting this will allow you to view, download, rename or delete the corresponding document.

The next section here is the data sheet section. This is where you can upload any work safety data sheets you have by dragging and dropping or again browsing your computer. Further down is the incident section. This is where any incidents will be stored and you can enter new ones with the new incident button. Selecting this allows you to fill out a form to specify what happened. You can give the incident a title. Whether it was a near miss or an accident who was there and the date you can then fill out the details of the incident and add any photos of the incident. Then hit. Save. The next section we have is the hazard templates.

Fergus will put several in your account by default to get you started. but let's select new hazard template when you select this, you have a few details to populate before you can save the template. First is the title and a description of the template. You want to add a swims or work data sheet that relates to this and hit save. This will make the template available for your team to use a bit further down.

We have the compliance report. This will show you a breakdown of job and hazards. A percentage of jobs fully mitigated. A percentage of hazards mitigated the number of reported hazards and the number of hazard free jobs. You can run this list across a date range to report on different time periods if you need. The last section is for settings related to health and safety.

Here, you can use the three dots next to the file you currently have to view. Download. Send this via email, rename or delete.

If you delete this, you will have the option to upload a new document or add the default health and safety policy. Below this. You can specify who is the health and safety officer for your business. The last section is for medical centres, If you select new medical centre, you can specify details, so your team has easy access to know how to contact and get to a medical centre.

Health and safety in Fergus helps keep all related documentation digital, so you're not hunting for required information if you need to present it.
