Transcript

Hi, everyone. It's Dylan here from the Fergus team. In this video, I'm gonna show you how to merge customers in Fergus.

There may come a time when you need two customer records in Fergus to become one for whatever reason. And Fergus can accommodate this. The only thing to consider here is if you have an accounting package integrated with You'll need to merge the record in there as well. To merge a customer, you will want to select customers from along the top of your Fergus account. From this menu, you'll see a list of your customers.

You can use the alphabet along the top to filter, or search to find the record that you need to merge into another and then open the record. on the top, right? You'll need to select the three dots and choose merge customer. Here. You can search for the record you want to merge with and then select Merge with this customer.

The next step is to choose the details you want to keep. this way, it doesn't matter what way round you start the merge. After the merge, there will be a note attached to the record to advise you of the change and all previous jobs, et cetera will now be recorded against this customer. And that's it. Nice and easy to keep everything tidy.
