Hi everyone. It's Dylan here from the Fergus team. In this video, I'm gonna show you site management in Fergus. at the top of the Fergus banner, you will see the heading sites. Clicking on this will open a new window where you can manage all the different sites you may have.
You can search for specific sites or use the filters to choose to look at active or inactive sites and any sites that have been archived. To add a new site, simply click the add new site button here, and a pop-up will allow you to enter in these details. In the addresses you are able to start typing, and Fergus will use Google maps to try and suggest the address you are looking for, and you can now specify room numbers, building names and apartment numbers. remember that the site address is unique in sites so you can't have more than one site with the exact same address. below the address. You can also define what type of contact you want to add for this site.
You will need at least a first name for this contact, but you can record a last name title or position the company name and the contact type with the appropriate contact details. You can also choose if you want this to be the billing contact, and if it is the default site contact in general You can only have one billing and one default contact per site. A contact can have both labels one or neither. To add contacts to a site, you will need to have a site open and be in the contact subheading on the left.
From here, you can add new contacts and a window just relating to the details of that person so you can record it. To archive the site. You select the three dots at the top of the page and select archive. If you archive the site by mistake, you can restore it from here as well. You can also add notes to the site as well. From here. If you pin this, it will be shown on the site so you can convey any and all information like where the spare key is The next subheading is the address.
Here you can see a snapshot of the address as seen through Google maps and also make any changes to the address should you need to. in case the site has a different postal address. You can set that one up, too. A little further down is the job subheading. This allows you to see all jobs created with the site address, and using the filter can drill down into more detail. Notes and history will show you any modifications done to the site and who did them. If you need to review,
Lastly is the files and photos. This works similar to the job card so you can store any files and photos for the site here. Please note that these files and photos won't appear in the job card. If you upload them here Site management allows you to have more control over the information you've recorded against your sites so you can find details with ease and manage all your contacts.
