Watch this video to learn how to utilise the Custom Price Book in Fergus for anything outside of your suppliers that needs to be recorded.
Transcript
Hi everyone. Dylan here from the Fergus team In this video, I'm gonna show you the custom price book.
The difference between the Custom Price book and other price books is that the custom price book is manually entered and edited within Fergus.
To get started, jump into settings in Fergus. on the left-hand side menu Select Price book. From here, you can see a button called Edit Custom Price Book. Click this to get started. From left to right, you will need to give this entry a product code, item name, cost price, sell price and also select what type of sales account is attributed to this item.
Once you have entered this information, click create to save it in. Now, when you are creating quotes or invoices, you can filter to your custom price book to use these.
The beauty of the custom price book is that you can add labour items here for things such as callout fees, different chargeout rates for different pieces of work or other charges not relating to your suppliers.
Thanks for taking the time to watch our video. If you have any questions, please get in touch via support@fergus.com
We just need to grab some basic information to help us personalise Fergus for you.
