Hi guys. It's Dylan here from the Fergus team. In this video, we're gonna be looking at the job card tools.
Whenever you create a job in Fergus, there are a number of tools you can utilise to get more out of it. If we start at the top right of the job card, we can see the type of job we have created in this case, a charge up from here, you are able to change the type of job you are doing in case anything changes. next to the job type. We have the three ellipses. When selected, you are given the choice of the following make reoccurring send job details.
Add task Archive this job put on hold or create a variation Make reoccurring allows the job to become repeatable based on parameters that you define so you don't have to create the same job every week, month or year. Send job details creates an email to send to your client populated with the details You've input into the job so far, and in the case of charge up, jobs will include a hyperlink for your customer to accept the terms of trade. Please note. Quote an estimate. will accept the terms of trade by default.
Add task enables you to create a task specific to the job. For an individual user, you can see the description who the task is for and a due date archiving the job removes it from being active on the status board in the case. You no longer need this job and requires a reason for the archive, so you can always refer back to why the job never went ahead. Putting a job on hold allows the job to be paused until X amount of days has passed or until a specific date. Creating a variation will make a child job associated to this job.
This is particularly useful if you have quoted a job, but the client needs additional work done outside of the scope of the quote, and they can be invoiced as one. Aside from the ellipses, we have the information relating to our job, the customer details as well as the site address and contact details. job details, stores, the job description, customer order number, budget payment terms and the group assigned to this job.
If you have set up groups for your users, site visit shows a breakdown of all site visits that have been created and the details associated. Lastly, we have any variations linked to the job we are looking at. The job card tools are a great way to keep all of your jobs organised and link all relating jobs together.
