Hi everyone. Dylan here from the Fergus team. In this video, I'm gonna show you how tiered pricing works in Fergus.

Tiered pricing is a feature you can use on our professional plan. To apply a pricing structure to your materials, you can set up a pricing structure specific to customers or as a general rule. to start, you'll need to be in settings and then select tiered pricing from the left hand side.

What you'll see is a list of all your products, the default cost and retail prices for these. Next to this there is a default tier. There is a big orange stamp stating default to remind you from the top, you can search by product name philtre to a specific supplier's product. Philtre to your favourites and select tiers. When you select tiers, you have the option to create new tiers, view the existing tiers you have and edit them. The below section is where the changes happen. You can set a default price by editing the price column.

The same is true for markup or discounted rate. If you adjust the markup or discounted rates, that means every time you get a new price book in Fergus, the calculation will automatically work out the correct pricing. you can also change your products in bulk by selecting the check box at the top of the page and then selecting bulk actions.

Please note that this will only be applied to the items displayed on the page you are looking at. Now, if we take a quick look at customer records, we can add a pricing tier specific to them so they have the right pricing structure.

Tiered pricing gives you the ability to make unique pricing structures for your customers so you can make sure they have the right prices when it comes time for invoicing.
