In this video we look at setting up checklist templates and adding them to jobs.

Hi everyone. Dylan here from the Fergus team In this video, I'm gonna be showing you how checklists work checklist templates can be.

For anything you need your team to complete on the job like pres site checks or a specific order of operations to get started, we will first take a look at creating a checklist template head to your settings of your Fergus account and then find checklists in the settings list. Here, you can see any checklist you have created and also archive any that you're no longer needing.

To create a checklist, select new template on the top right, and you'll be taken to a section where you can start creating the checklist. First thing you can do is give your checklist a name. This will be what the user sees when looking in the checklist. Option on the mobile app. whenever you create a new checklist, Fergus will have three check boxes to get you started. But if you need more, simply push enter.

Once you have typed everything for that particular line, you can also delete any parts of the checklist in case you don't need them. If you select add to template, you can add another check box, a hitter or a text field. The header allows you to create a section heading if you want to break your checklist into sections. The text field allows you to expand on a description. If there's anything you need to convey in more detail to your team,

Once you are happy with the checklist, don't forget to save. Now let's take a look at adding a checklist from the desktop version of Fergus. When you open a job, you will notice that under tools, there is a new subheading checklist. opening. This will show what checklists have been assigned to this job, if any, we can search if there are quite a few to narrow down the checklist and we can also filter to a status. Once we open up the checklist, we can look at setting up more details.

We can assign the whole checklist to a user with a due date or we can assign certain parts of the checklist to users with due dates. This is great in case you have a specialist in your team that takes the lead on all actions of a certain type.

You can also set a reminder while setting the due date so that the right staff member gets the notification that's due. If a checklist or an item is not done within a due time, that checklist or item will become overdue. Once started, the checklist will have a status and you'll be able to see how many steps have been completed. and that's all you need to do. Setting up an assigning checklist is simple. With Fergus,
