Track Employees & Schedule Jobs Using the Map

Learn how you can use Fergus to track where your employees are to schedule and more efficiently.

Hi everyone, it's Dylan here from the Fergus team. In this video, I'll be showing you the employee map in Fergus.

The employee map can be found along the top banner of Fergus The map uses GPS from the user's mobile device to track where they are during the day, making it easier to schedule the closest team members to attend jobs and more.

Because Fergus relies on the device and reception, it's not always possible to see exactly where your employees are, but you will have an indication. On the left hand side, you will see a list of your employees on the live tab. This will tell you if they have the GPS enabled on the device and when they were last seen.

Further down, you can also check the jobs active for today, and these will also appear on the map itself. Flicking over to the track tab on the left hand side will show individual details on users you will see when they stop the timer on the mobile app, current events and future events.

If you need to, you can also change the date you want to see if you need to look at any other days. The employee map gives you the big picture so that you can make the most efficient use of your team's schedule.
