Transcript

Hi everyone. It's Dylan here from the Fergus team. In this video, I'm gonna show you payrolls in Fergus.

To get started with payrolls. We'll need to be in the setting section of Fergus Payrolls lives in Fergus Labs. This is where we keep some of the features that we plan on improving. If we select payrolls here, we have the option to register interest in payrolls. This will enable payrolls on your account.

Once enabled, you will have a new option. When you select one of your users from the users section of Fergus. select the employee pay section of the user configuration and below the standard pay rates. We have payrolls. Turning this on will give us more options the first thing you need to do is set up the ordinary working hours for this employee, you can tick what days they work, then specify start and finish times the maximum hours they work in a day and the average amount of hours they would do in a week.

Now we come to penalty rates. This is where we set up how much the employees paid for any hours outside of the ordinary hours. For this, we have the first and after hours for overtime worked Monday to Friday and a dropdown menu to choose at which rate this will be applied. These options are normal time, time and a half, double triple quadruple time and unpaid time.

Based on what your regular pay rate is for your user, Fergus will apply this calculation. Then we can configure this for Saturdays and Sundays. Once you are happy with the configuration, don't forget to save your changes at the bottom of the page. Payrolls helped you manage how much you need to pay your team for any extra work. They need to do.
